The building comprises a four-court sports hall, a rooftop 4G pitch, classrooms and meeting spaces, flexible exercise studios and an open-plan office for Foundation staff. It provides a bespoke facility for the Foundation to deliver its transformational programmes to improve the lives of local children, teenagers, adults and families through education, sport, and personal development.

Todd Milburn was the project manager, working closely with the Foundation’s board and the exceptional design and construction team, including Ryder Architecture and Robertson Construction, to ensure the project met the client’s budget and achieved the target programme. The Foundation explicitly required that the projects social value impact commenced and ran throughout the design and construction phases. Todd Milburn is proud to have helped the Foundation continue its life-changing community, health, and education projects in a world-class building.

“This building is not just about the bricks and mortar.  It’s about making people believe they can become what they want to be.”

Shola Ameobi, Newcastle United Foundation Patron.
